History of Flight

On December 9, 2023, at approximately 0805H, an Allied Ag-cat G164A aircraft with registration RP-R1130, operated by South Pacific Aerial Spraying Services, sustained substantial damage following an overrun during landing at MD PAVI Aerodrome Runway 22 in Panabo City, Davao del Norte, Philippines. The flight had departed from the same aerodrome at around 0730H for the pilot's first agricultural spraying operation of the day. The first load was completed uneventfully. For the second load, the aircraft was loaded with 500 liters of chemicals. After completing the spraying operations, the aircraft returned for landing. During the landing, the aircraft floated and touched down beyond the middle part of the runway, then bounced three times. The aircraft continued rolling and exited the end of the runway. The pilot applied full brakes, causing the aircraft to nose over. The propeller struck the ground, and the aircraft settled in an upside-down position. The aircraft came to a complete stop approximately 40 meters from the end of Runway 22 at coordinates 7.331191N, 125.594728E. The pilot, the sole occupant, egressed safely and did not sustain any injuries.
