An aircraft overran the runway during a visual approach, resulting in a ravine excursion and subsequent fire.

What happened

During a visual approach, the aircraft failed to stop within the boundaries of the 1,500-metre runway. Due to the insufficient remaining distance, the aircraft exited the end of the runway and entered a nearby ravine. Upon exiting the paved surface, the aircraft caught fire.

In the aftermath of the accident, there were two fatalities among the passengers. While 25 people managed to evacuate the wreckage without any injuries, nine others sustained various injuries during the event.
