What happened
During a flight originating from Dhaka, the crew began their approach to Cox's Bazar amidst challenging weather characterized by heavy rainfall. Upon landing, the aircraft experienced a structural failure of the nose landing gear. This collapse caused the plane to slide forward on its nose for several dozen meters before coming to a complete stop.
The incident occurred in the middle of the runway, which necessitated a closure of the strip for approximately 22 hours. Despite the impact, all 48 occupants managed to evacuate the aircraft type without injury. The aircraft type sustained damage that was determined to be beyond repair.
