What happened
On the morning of the accident, a twin-engine aircraft departed from Luanda-4 de Fevereiro Airport, scheduled for an executive flight to Huambo. The flight was operating with two pilots and 11 passengers on board.
As the aircraft approached its destination, it was performing a descent into Huambo Airport. During this phase of flight, the aircraft encountered adverse meteorological conditions, specifically heavy rain and fog that significantly reduced visibility. While navigating through these conditions, the aircraft struck Mt Mbave, which has an elevation of 2,021 metres. The impact occurred approximately 40 km north of the Huambo Airport.

- The collision with the terrain resulted in 13 fatalities, with no survivors among the crew or passengers.
