What happened
On the night of the accident, a twin engine airplane departed from Laguna del Sauce Airport on a scheduled charter service destined for San Fernando Airport, located near Buenos Aires. The flight was carrying a total of ten people, consisting of two pilots and eight passengers.
Shortly after the aircraft departed from runway 01, the flight entered a controlled descent. The plane impacted shallow water approximately 2 km northwest of the departure airfield. Following the impact, a post-crash fire broke out, which completely destroyed the airframe. There were 10 fatalities as a result of the accident, with no survivors reported among the crew or passengers.
