What happened
During the initial stages of takeoff, a twin-engine aircraft experienced a loss of directional control. While accelerating along the runway, the aircraft reached a speed of 80 knots before deviating toward the right side of the pavement. This deviation caused the plane to exit the runway surface and come to a stop.
Despite the impact of the excursion, all 11 occupants were able to exit the aircraft without injury. The incident resulted in the aircraft being declared a total loss, as the structural damage was deemed beyond repair.
Findings
- The aircraft departed the runway during the takeoff roll.
- The excursion occurred once the aircraft reached 80 knots.
