What happened
On a night flight departing from Videira-Ângelo Ponzoni Airport, a twin engine airplane was en route to Campo de Marte Airport. The flight was operated with one pilot and six passengers on board. During the approach phase, the pilot identified a malfunction regarding the landing gear indicator system.
To address the technical issue, air traffic control authorized the pilot to conduct two low-altitude passes over the airfield to visually inspect the gear status. Following the second pass, as the aircraft moved past the threshold of runway 30, the plane experienced a left roll. The aircraft subsequently impacted the ground inverted approximately 100 meters to the left of the runway, resulting in a post-crash fire.

- The aircraft experienced a malfunction in the landing gear indicator system.
- The crash occurred during a low-altitude maneuver intended to verify the landing gear position.
- The accident resulted in one fatality (the pilot) and six injuries among the passengers, with two of those injuries classified as serious.
