What happened

On the day of the accident, a twin engine aircraft departed from runway 10 at Pattaya Airpark. The flight was intended to be a local excursion carrying one pilot and six skydivers. Shortly after beginning its initial climb, the aircraft reached an altitude of approximately 200 to 300 feet when it experienced a stall.

Following the loss of lift, the plane descended into a cassava field situated roughly 1,500 meters from the end of the runway, in the vicinity of the village of Chak Ngaeo. The impact resulted in the aircraft being damaged beyond repair. All seven individuals on board sustained injuries during the crash.
