A single-engine aircraft operating a humanitarian mission departed Jigjiga Airport bound for Dire Dawa, carrying two pilots and two employees of the World Food Program. During the flight, the crew encountered an unexpected situation and was forced to attempt an emergency landing.
Accident Sequence
The aircraft touched down and subsequently came to rest on its nose in a near-vertical position. The right wing was partially torn off during the landing sequence.
Occupant Status
All four individuals on board—the two pilots and the two World Food Program employees—escaped with minor injuries. No fatalities or serious injuries were reported.

Emergency services assisted the occupants following the landing. The aircraft remained at the site in its nose-down attitude.
