What happened

On 12 July 2021, a Viking Air Ltd DHC-2 Beaver MK1A, registered as 5Y-BCL, was involved in a fatal aviation accident in Kenya. The aircraft, which was operated by the Desert Locust Control Organization of Eastern Africa (DLCO-EA), was performing a flight from Wilson Airport in Nairobi toward Lodwar Airport in Turkana County.
