What happened

Shortly after departing from runway 01 at the Medellín-Enlot Enrique Olaya Herrera Airport, the aircraft experienced issues maintaining necessary altitude. Approximately three minutes following takeoff, the plane collided with the incline of Mt Padre Amaya, situated roughly 8 km from the airfield.

Search efforts located the debris field approximately 30 metres beneath the mountain's peak. Of the total occupants on board, 14 fatalities were recorded, while one passenger was recovered alive from the site.
