What happened
During the final approach phase of flight toward Apiay Air Force Base, an aircraft experienced a loss of lift while executing a final turn. The aircraft type entered a stall condition, leading to a crash into a nearby field.
There were a total of sixteen people on board at the time of the accident. The impact resulted in five fatalities and eleven injuries. The occupants who perished included the co-pilot and four passengers.
