What happened
During a scheduled training flight departing from Palanquero-German Olano Airport, a DC-3 aircraft crashed approximately 8 km from the airfield. The flight was being conducted by an instructor accompanied by four student pilots. The aircraft, which had been modified into a turboprop configuration, went down under circumstances that remain undetermined.
All five people on board the aircraft lost their lives in the accident. The impact resulted in the total destruction of the airframe.
