What happened
On November 24, 2024, at 18:36 UTC, a Tecnam Astore, registration LV-S016, was performing a private general aviation flight from La Matanza to Astor Piazzolla International Airport in Mar del Plata, Argentina. The investigation
The Argentine Transportation Safety Board (JST) conducted a desk investigation into the event. The inquiry reviewed flight records and maintenance actions taken following the discovery of the pressure loss. The investigation focused on the circumstances surrounding the landing and the subsequent temporary repair of the tire.
Findings
- The investigation could not definitively determine the specific cause of the pressure loss in the tire.
- There were no injuries to the pilot and no damage to the aircraft resulting from the incident.
