What happened
On October 17, 2021, at approximately 21:00 UTC, a Tecnam P2002 Sierra, registration LV-S065, was performing a general aviation training flight at San Rafael Airport (SAMR) in Mendoza, Argentina. During the landing phase of the flight, the aircraft experienced a sudden failure of the right main landing gear tire.
