Accident

OTKES appointed an investigation team led by commercial pilot Mika Kosonen, with members including commercial pilot and flight instructor Kimmo Lius, specialist researcher Juho Posio, and aviation medical expert Alpo Vuorio. The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) named a technical advisor. Insta ILS Oy provided analysis of the aircraft's airspeed and altimeters, and the Forensic Laboratory of the National Bureau of Investigation assisted in examining an iPad recovered from the aircraft. The investigation aimed to determine the sequence of events, causes, and consequences, as well as to assess safety considerations and regulatory adequacy.
