What happened
A twin-engine aircraft was performing a charter mission originating in Munich, destined for Magnitogorsk, with a scheduled stop in Moscow to collect a navigator. During the departure phase from the Moscow area, the aircraft reached an altitude of approximately 15 metres. At this low altitude, the plane experienced a left bank and struck the ground roughly 30 metres to the left of the runway.
Following the initial impact, the aircraft lost control and continued to roll for a distance of about 325 metres before finally coming to a stop. The accident resulted in one fatality involving the pilot, while the remaining six occupants sustained serious injuries.
Findings
The aircraft was operating in a low-altitude flight phase when it deviated from its flight path and impacted the terrain near the runway edge.
