Planned Flight Activities
On 11 December 2025, the limited liability company Wings Flight School (ООО «Летная школа Крылья») scheduled flights at Khazhyovo Aerodrome. The purpose of the flights was to conduct a proficiency check of a captain (КВС) who had a two-year break from flying, followed by the captain performing solo circuits.
Airspace Authorization
On 10 December 2025, the director of Wings Flight School submitted an online application for the use of airspace in the vicinity of Khazhyovo Aerodrome to the Center for Coordination and Flight Support of the Republican Unitary Enterprise for Air Navigation Services "Belaeronavigatsiya." Authorization for the use of airspace in the Khazhyovo area was granted on the same day.
Weather Information
At 06:00 on 11 December 2025, the director of Wings Flight School received a telephone briefing on forecast and actual weather conditions for the flight area from the controller of the Minsk-Area Aerodrome Flight Information Service (МДП «Минск-район»). This meteorological information was then relayed to the flight crew.
Pre-Flight Medical Examination
At 06:30 on the same day, the captain-instructor (КВС-инструктор) underwent a pre-flight medical examination at the medical station of the Minsk Aeroclub (ООО «Минский аэроклуб»). This examination was conducted under a contract dated 1 November 2024 (No. М-01-11/24) for the pre-flight medical check of flight personnel of Wings Flight School.
Regulatory Note
According to paragraph 113 of the Aviation Rules "Procedure for Medical Support of Civil Aircraft Flights," approved by the Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus on 24 January 2019 (No. 5/10): "Holders of certificates who are employees of aviation organizations must undergo pre-flight (pre-shift) medical examinations. The scope and frequency of pre-flight (pre-shift) medical examinations are determined by the heads of aviation organizations in agreement with the aviation medical center, taking into account current legislation and recommendations of the medical flight expert commission."
