What happened

During a ferry flight traveling from Kiev to Tehran, a twin-engine aircraft was cruising at altitude over the Black Sea when the crew encountered an unforeseen emergency. The crew contacted air traffic control to report the situation and requested permission to divert the flight to Ankara Airport.

Shortly after this request, the aircraft lost control and descended into the sea. The crash occurred approximately 50 km from the coast of Inebolu. Following the incident, search efforts located some debris floating on the surface of the water, but the main wreckage of the plane has not been recovered. There were six fatalities among the occupants of the aircraft.
