What happened
A delivery flight operating from Kattleberg, Sweden, to Klaipėda, Lithuania, ended in a crash in the Baltic Sea. The flight, which included an intermediate stop in Kattleberg, was being conducted by a newly acquired aircraft intended for agricultural use. The flight departed Kattleberg Airfield at 13:12 local time, with a scheduled arrival in Klaipėda at 17:20.
At 15:08 local time, the crew provided an update to Air Traffic Control regarding their current position. However, within approximately thirty minutes of that communication, the aircraft began an uncontrolled descent. The plane went down in the Baltic Sea, approximately 111 km away from Klaipėda.
Three days after the disappearance, a crew aboard a Lithuanian Marine vessel discovered the wreckage resting at a depth of 124 meters. During the recovery efforts, one deceased individual was recovered on May 21. The second pilot remains missing.
