What happened
A charter flight operated by T-Cement, traveling from Magadan to Seymchan, experienced a critical loss of airspeed shortly after departing from runway 01. The aircraft was transporting 12 pilots and 12 mining employees, along with 445 kilograms of luggage and personal belongings. During the initial climb, at an altitude of approximately 10 meters, the aircraft transitioned into a nose-up attitude accompanied by a significant reduction in velocity.
As the plane reached an altitude of roughly 30 meters, the angle of attack increased to 24° while the airspeed decreased to 65 km/h. This resulted in an aerodynamic stall, causing the single-engine airplane to impact a snow-covered field located approximately 240 meters beyond the runway threshold. While the aircraft sustained damage beyond repair, all 14 occupants managed to evacuate the wreckage without injury.
Findings
The accident was triggered by a rapid increase in the angle of attack and a subsequent drop in airspeed, which led to the stall during the takeoff phase.
