What happened
Following a standard departure, the pilot reported that the aircraft's flight controls failed to respond correctly to manual inputs. Once airborne, the aircraft entered an uncontrollable nose-high attitude. The pilot attempted to push the control yoke forward to correct the pitch, but described the sensation as if the control cables were being stretched under pressure, preventing any effective downward movement.
In an effort to avoid populated areas, the pilot executed a rapid maneuver toward a wooded region. The aircraft subsequently struck trees and came to a rest, at which point a fire broke out. There were no survivors reported in the wreckage.
Findings
An inspection of the flight control system following the accident did not reveal any clear evidence of mechanical failure or malfunction occurring prior to the impact. However, the investigation was unable to pinpoint the specific reason for the pitch control anomaly because the elevator system sustained heavy damage and was partially destroyed by the post-crash fire.
Several variables remained undetermined during the investigation. The exact weight and center of gravity of the aircraft at the time of the accident could not be verified. Additionally, while various items were recovered from the wreckage, the intense fire prevented investigators from identifying the burned remains or confirming the original placement of these items within the cabin.
