What happened
On the day of the accident, a single-engine aircraft was performing routine skydiving operations out of Kalachevo Airport, situated approximately 24 kilometers south of Chelyabinsk. During the initial climb phase, the aircraft reached an altitude of roughly 100 meters before experiencing an aerodynamic stall.
Following the stall, the plane descended into a snow-covered field located about 1.5 kilometers north of the airfield. The impact with the ground resulted in the total destruction of the aircraft. There were 8 fatalities recorded among the occupants of the plane.
