Incident Overview and Aircraft Details On July 28, 2018, Vietnam Airlines Flight 1544, an Airbus A321 with registration VN-A336, was operating a commercial passenger flight from Phu Bai International Airport in Hue to Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi. The aircraft, manufactured in 2012, was in good technical condition prior to the flight, with no reported defects affecting operational safety.
