While in a training flight, the aircraft went out of control and crashed in a field located in Uzech, about 15 km north of Cahors, Lot. The aircraft was destroyed and all four occupants were killed. Crew: Cpt Jean-Marie Bachelot, Cpt Henri-Claude Johary. Passengers: Michel Magnier, Jacqueline Spirkovitch. Probable cause (official findings): It was reported that an engine failed in flight and caught fire for unknown reasons.

The pilot was performing a positioning flight to Stavanger to take part to the inauguration of the Sola Airport. He departed Oslo with two other DH.60M Moth of the Norwegian Air Force (Kongelige Norske Luftforsvaret). En route, he encountered low visibility due to foggy conditions and decided to attempt an emergency landing wen he lost control of the aircraft that crashed near the Lake Eikeren. The pilot was killed.
