Shutdown #two engine due to failure which resulted in zero thrust. Aircraft returned to halifax and landed safely. Maintenance are replacing the engine.

Loss of oil pressure #1 engine, engine secured, aircraft returned to st. John's and landed without further incident at 1858 nst. Maintenance determined that the p2.5 switching valve had failed. Valve replaced and aircraft returned to service.
