The pilot, owner of the airplane, was flying to La Baule-Escoublac Airport to take part to an airshow. The twin engine airplane departed Rennes Airport, carrying two pilots, the owner and an instructor. On final approach to runway 29, the airplane crashed in an open field, coming to rest nearby a forest, bursting into flames. The airplane was destroyed and both occupants were killed, among them Claude Guillemot, co-founder of Ubisoft.
