THE PLT LANDED ON A CLOSED RWY AND THE ACFT COLLIDED WITH A SNOWBANK. A NOTAM HAD BEEN ISSUED THREE DAYS PRIOR, CLOSING THE RWY, HOWEVER, THE PLT STATED THAT HE HAD NOT CHECKED NOTOMS PRIOR TO DEPARTING TRAVERSE CITY.
