AT 1444, THE PLT CONTACTED FT WAYNE FSS & HAD HIS VFR FLT PLAN EXTNDD 1 HR. HE NEITHER REQUESTEDNOR RECEIVED UPDATED WX INFO, WHICH INCLUDED FLT PRECAUTIONS FOR ICING, TURBC & THUNDERSTORMS.
