FLT EXPERIENCED ENGINE FAILURE WHEN THE NUMBER SIX CONNECTING ROD SEPARATED FROM THE CRANKSHAFT AFTER FAILURE OF THE CONNECTING ROD BEARING. DURING AN ATTEMPTED FORCED LANDING DURING DARKNESS THE ACFT COLLIDED WITH TREES AND THEN CRASHED TO THE GROUND.
