WHILE ON FINAL FOR THE RUNWAY THE PILOT ADVANCED THE THROTTLE AND THE ENGINE LOST POWER. THE AIRCRAFT WAS LANDED SHORT OF THE RUNWAY ONTO A FIELD, WHERE THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED DURING THE LANDING ROLL.
