On 14 june 2017 the glider LAK-12 was about 30 m higher than the tow plane during the towing and the glider released. The pilot turned the glider to the left, the left wing impacted the ground, and the glider came to rest in some brush. The glider was destroyed. The pilot was minor injured. The safety investigation is performed by the Safety Investigation Authority of the United States of America (National Transportation Safety Board).
