THE ACFT COLLIDED WITH THE TERRAIN SHORTLY AFTER TAKEOFF. THE PILOT STATED HE NOTICED SIGNS OF A 'POWER LOSS'. TRYING TOLAND ON A HIGHWAY HE ABANDONED HIS APPROACH BECAUSE OF TRAFFIC AND HEADED FOR A PLOWED FIELD.
