THE ACFT NOSED OVER AND SANK DURING A WATER LANDING. THE FLOAT PLANE HAD APPROACHED NOSE HIGH AND UPON INITIAL TOUCHDOWNON THE LAKE THE ACFT SKIPPED/BOUNCED. ACCORDING TO A WITNESS IT APPEARED THAT THE PLT WAS TRYING TO EXTEND HIS TOUCHDOWNPOINT.
