PLT SAID DIRECT ROUTE WAS FLOWN AT 10,500 FT MSL DESCENDING LOWER AFTER CROSSING MOUNTAINOUS AREA. PLT DID NOT LEAN MIXTURE DURING FLT OR REPORT WHICH FUEL TANK WAS SELECTED WHEN POWER LOSS OCCURRED.
