PLT FELT VIBRATION IN ANTI-TORQUE PEDALS FOLLOWED BY A SERIES OF LOUD BANGS COMING FROM THE TAIL SECTION. PLT INITIATED PRECAUTIONARY LANDING DURING WHICH TAIL ROTOR EFFECTIVENESS. DURING THE 'POWER OFF' RUN ON LANDING MAIN ROTOR BLADES CONTACTED THE TAIL BOOM.
