THE CRASH OCCURRED ABOUT 1 TO 2 MI SOUTH OF THE FINAL APPROACH FIX WHILE THE AIRCRAFT WAS ON AN OUTBOUND HEADING. THE MINIMUM APPROACH ALTITUDE IN THIS AREA WAS 5000 FT MSL.
