THE ACFT RAN OFF THE SIDE OF THE RUNWAY AND CONTINUED TO OVERRUN THE DEPARTURE END OF THE RUNWAY WHERE COLLISION WITH A DITCH OCCURRED. THERE WAS EVIDENCE THAT THE BRAKES WERE USED BUT WERE NOT EFFECTIVE IN STOPPING THE ACFT.
