THE PILOT-IN-COMMAND STATED THAT DURING THE TAKEOFF ROLL HE WAS MOVING THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER UP AND DOWN TO EFFECT A LIFT OFF. THE AIRPLANE NEVER LEFT THE RUNWAY AND RAN OFF THE END OF THE TEN FOOT EMBANKMENT, TRAVELED 140 FEET BEFORE STRIKING A BANK AND THEN NOSED OVER INTO A LAKE.
