On October 30, 1941, at approximately 10 10 pm, American Airlines Flight 1 crashed near St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada. The Douglas DC-3, registration NC 25663, was destroyed by the impact and subsequent fire. The 17 passengers and crew of three sustained fatal injuries.
