THE ACFT VEERED OFF THE RWY COLLIDED WITH A DITCH AND NOSED OVER DURING LANDING. THE PILOT STATED THAT THE ENGINE DIED WHEN HE RETARDED IT TO IDLE AT TOUCHDOWN. WHEN HE APPLIED THE BRAKES THE PEDALS HAD NO PRESSURE AND NO EFFECT.
