The crew was performing an ambulance flight from Yogyakarta-Adisujipto Airport to Jakarta-Halim Perdanakusuma Airport on behalf of the Indonesian Red Cross (Palang Merah Indonesia), carrying one patient, two doctors, two accompanists and three crew members.
