1911 Wright Model B replica listed as historical aircraft for sale
A replica of the Wright brothers' first mass-produced airplane is being offered for sale, built to recreate the look, sound and character of early powered flight.

A replica of a 1911 Wright Model B is for sale, described as a faithful recreation of one of the earliest production airplanes.
The Model B was the Wright brothers' first aircraft built in quantity and was adopted by U.S. military services to train their first pilots. Its design moved the elevator from the nose to the tail.
The listing says the replica's engine has no hours on it and follows the original Wright design. Two two-blade propellers are driven through chains and sprockets, an arrangement that echoes the 1903 Wright Flyer. Paperwork concerning the engine can be supplied on request.
The airframe, according to the listing, was assembled to reproduce the appearance and feel of the Wright Model B.
