Actress arrested after incident on Delta flight from Los Angeles to New York
US actress Selma Blair was taken into custody after an incident aboard a Delta Air Lines flight in which the carrier says two crew members were injured. She was taken to hospital for a medical examination.
Selma Blair was arrested on the evening of Sunday, 11 October after a Delta Air Lines flight from Los Angeles to New York-JFK, following an incident on board.
The airline said two crew members were injured. The New York Times reported that police were called over a violent passenger, and the injured are said to have been two flight attendants.
Blair and one of the crew members were taken to a hospital for medical examination.
A spokesperson for the 54-year-old actress said Blair had suffered a medical emergency that triggered the behaviour she is accused of. Her condition is now stable, the spokesperson said.
