Air Canada is continuing to grow its overseas schedule. The airline recently started service to Mallorca, Berlin, Ponta Delgada, Catania, and Brussels, among other points. For summer 2027, it plans to operate more than 125 international routes. That represents up to 169,000 seats departing Canada each week.

Those flights will reach over 85 destinations across the Atlantic, the Pacific, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. The figures come from the airline's published schedule for the season. No specific new route for 2027 was named in the report, though the carrier has signalled further expansion.

Air Canada's international footprint has grown steadily. The airline has emphasised adding leisure and seasonal destinations in Europe. Its long-term strategy includes deeper frequencies on existing services and entry into new markets where demand is strong.
