Airbus has delivered the first aircraft from its second final assembly line for the A320 family in Tianjin. The A320neo went to China Eastern Airlines on 16 September, according to the manufacturer.
The additional line opened in October 2025. More than 800 aircraft from the A320 family have now been assembled and delivered in Tianjin in total.
Airbus operates ten A320-family final assembly lines worldwide. Four are in Hamburg, with two each in Toulouse, Mobile and Tianjin. The manufacturer says the expansion is intended to lift monthly output to between 70 and 75 aircraft by the end of 2027, before holding steady at 75.
