American Airlines Debuts New Business Suites on Boeing 777-300ER
The carrier has introduced its first retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER featuring Flagship Suite seats with sliding doors, alongside updated premium economy and main cabin extra seating.

American Airlines has put its first retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER into service. The new cabin has 70 Flagship Suite seats in business class at its center. Each seat has a sliding door for privacy, added personal storage, and converts into a flat bed or a chaise lounge position. New lighting and materials match the airline's Boeing 787-9 and Airbus A321XLR aircraft.
The aircraft also has 44 redesigned premium economy seats with adjustable headrests, leg rests, footrests, and extra storage. There are 30 Main Cabin Extra seats. The refurbished 777-300ER will fly its first commercial route on September 2 from New York to Buenos Aires.
