American Airlines receives first Embraer E175 with new Recaro seats
Embraer has delivered the first E175 fitted with Recaro's latest-generation seats to American Airlines, which becomes the first US carrier to fly the E175 with the new cabin.

Embraer has handed over the first E175 equipped with Recaro's latest-generation seats to American Airlines, the manufacturer announced on Monday, 19 October. According to Embraer, the new seats are intended to give passengers more personal space and knee room without reducing comfort.
American Airlines is the first carrier in the United States to put the new Recaro seats into service on the E175. The airline's regional flights are the focus of the refit.
The upgrade is meant to improve the cabin experience on those regional sectors and to bring it closer in line with what passengers get on the carrier's larger aircraft, according to the announcement.
