ASELSAN tests electronic warfare pods on Bayraktar TB2 drones
Turkish defence firm ASELSAN says it flew electronic warfare and radar pods on Bayraktar TB2 drones during a demonstration in Konya for delegations from 18 countries.

ASELSAN ran a demonstration in Konya, Turkey, flying three of its airborne electronic warfare and radar pods on Bayraktar TB2 drones. The company announced the event on September 18, 2026, and defence delegations from 18 countries attended.
Two pods flew on one drone and a radar pod on another, all in the same scenario. The ANTIDOT 2ES 100 electronic support pod flew with the ANTIDOT 2EA 200 electronic attack pod, and a second TB2 carried the FULMAR 200 synthetic aperture radar pod.
In the first sequence ASELSAN described, the support pod found a target radar in flight and fixed its position. The electronic attack pod then used that targeting data to strike the radar. According to the company, the result let the TB2 carrying the pods approach the target without being detected. In the second, the support pod located a different emitter and passed its position to the FULMAR 200, which produced a high-resolution SAR image of the target area.
ASELSAN said the trial marked the first time ANTIDOT had been tested against real radar systems while mounted on a TB2, and the first time the two pod families operated together. The company did not name the radar systems used as targets.
The configuration is meant for suppression of enemy air defenses, a mission traditionally flown by crewed aircraft. In June 2026, ASELSAN displayed the same pair of ANTIDOT pods mounted externally on the larger Bayraktar TB3, calling that arrangement a world first, and in July 2026 it brought the pods and FULMAR radars to Farnborough. Moving the pair to the TB2 could offer a lower-cost path to the capability; ASELSAN has not disclosed further details of that plan.
