Boeing hands over 161 commercial aircraft in third quarter
Boeing's third-quarter commercial deliveries reached 161, lifting its nine-month total to 475, with the 737 family accounting for most of the handovers.

Boeing delivered 161 commercial aircraft between July and September, according to figures the manufacturer released for the third quarter. That brings its total for the first nine months of the year to 475.
The 737 programme supplied most of the quarter's output: 124 narrowbodies handed over in the three months, and 367 across January to September.
Widebody deliveries for the quarter came to 22 787s, ten 767s and five 777s. The nine-month figures for those three types stand at 62, 26 and 20 aircraft respectively.
Defense, Space & Security recorded 33 deliveries in the quarter, bringing its year-to-date count to 98. Among them were 15 Apache helicopters, either new or remanufactured, and three Chinooks, also new or renewed. Seven KC-46 tankers were handed over, along with two F-15s, two F/A-18s and one MH-139 helicopter. Three commercial or civil satellites were also delivered. Boeing reported no P-8 deliveries during the period.
The manufacturer said the delivery numbers are provisional and may be adjusted when it publishes its quarterly financial results.
